Christopher P. Collins

Christopher Patrick Collins attended the University Of New Mexico School Of Law, graduating in 2002.   While in Law School, he worked for current Chief New Mexico Court of Appeals Judge, Jonathan Sutin. Christopher received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania in 1996.

Upon graduation from law school, Christopher worked for Senator Pete Domenici in Washington, DC.    Christopher counseled the Senator on legislative issues under the jurisdiction of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee; Finance Committee; and the Indian Affairs Committee.   Christopher also advised the Senator on veterans’ healthcare issues, Budget Resolution functions concerning entitlement spending, education, labor, health, and housing and he managed requests made of the Senator under the jurisdiction of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education.   Christopher also served briefly on the staff of Congresswoman Heather Wilson, advising her on similar issues.

In addition to his legislative work, Christopher served as Campaign Manager for Congresswoman Heather Wilson in her 2008 bid for the New Mexico Senate seat.   He was the Executive Director of the Republican Party of New Mexico’s 2002 Victory program and the Northern New Mexico Field Director for President George Bush’s 2000 Presidential campaign.   Christopher has also worked in the Legislative Council Service in Santa Fe.

Christopher practices in the areas of Family Law, Wills, Trusts and Estates, Business Law and Real Estate Law.
